Landscape Architects seek to provide engaging active and passive outdoor spaces while keeping in mind the health, safety and welfare of all users. They play an important role to help with protection of the environment by designing and implementing projects that respect the land and the people's needs from the land. Founded in 1899, the American Society of Landscape Architects is the national professional association representing landscape architects. ASLA promotes the landscape architecture profession and advances the practice through advocacy, education, communication, and fellowship. |
